Annyong Haseyo!
We have arrived in Gwangju, the City of Lights. Our flights were on time but after we arrived in Seoul we found out they cancelled the 10:30p bus to Gwangju. We stayed in a nearby hotel and rode the bus in the morning.
When we were walking around the airport Troy was bombarded with guys trying to get us in their taxi. But we found the government sponsored tourist information booth and they helped us out.
Our apartment is about 550 square feet. The good news is that we can clean it in about half an hour top to bottom. Food is pretty expensive here, a half a chicken costs about $4.50, but it turns out that we're in a really expensive part of downtown. So we're going to hop on a bus and look for the Bigmart, we hear it's like a walmart. Our boss is really nice and the other teachers have been in Korea for a few years. (We hope that they like us) That's all for now, we don't want to overload you with our blog right away! We love you and miss you here. We start training tomorrow, hooray!
