Reunion in Yeosu

A lot of the closest friends we made have been returning to Korea. We all decided to meet in Yeosu to hang out for a night. We had some BBQ ribs, good times, and a lot of Noray-Bong singing.

We got to see Mark and Clare, our old co-workers who became our "Korean Life Coaches". They are now down in Namhae, teaching at a public school. They got married back in December, which is why they left the country.

We also got to see Bob and Rebecca, who used to live in Gwangju, but now live in Namhae. Bob's brother, Eddie, also works down there, and he came too. They are from the states, and we talked a lot about March Madness. Too bad for Troy, UConn is out...

We became friends with another couple, Matt and M.K. Matt used to teach in Gwangju last year, and just came back to Korea and is teaching in Seoul.

Our friends Alan, Hyun Jin, Matt, Fred, Dawn, and Brian all came down to Yeosu with us, and we hung out with our good Aussie buddies, Mel and Julian. All in all, we had 17 people who teach or used to teach in Gwangju come out for the weekend, and we had a great time!

Oh, and this is what a Noray-Bong looks like.

Highlights of the Noray-Bong:

1. Matt singing love songs to M.K.
2. "Patience" by Guns and Roses.
3. The boys all singing love songs to their ladies.
4. Mark and Clare's wedding song.
5. Fred and Troy having rap battles....kinda
6. Surfin' U.S.A.

Hope all is well back home! Was easter good for everyone? Thanks to Sarah's Mom and Dad for the Easter goody box. It was really nice.
