The Rileys and Furlongs make a visit

Hello everyone!

Sorry about the delay in posts. Things are going very well here, and I guess we are still adjusting to the time and place once again.

2 Weekends ago, we had a 3-day holiday, and our old friends Mark, Clare, Bob, Reba, and Eddie came down to Jindo from Namhae to see us!

We had a wonderful time. We went to Gagye Beach, famous for the start of the "Jindo Mysterious Sea Road" which appears maybe 2 times a year. We played football on the beach, and took a quick swim. The water was pretty cold, but still a good time.

The next day, we went to Jodo Island. Jodo Island is actually one of the places I go to teach every week, so I gave a tiny tour of the island while we were there. The ferry ride to Jodo is always very nice and peaceful. We went to another beach on Jodo, played some baseball, frisbee, and football. We played baseball using a very large bamboo rod that we found on the beach. We were sad that we didn't think about bringing our camping stuff because the place is very beautiful and peaceful.

After the 2nd beach excursion, we traveled across Jodo Bridge and drove to the top of a mountain where you can see many many small islands in the ocean. It was so serene. We'll be going back there again.

We loved having our friends in our new home for our first weekend in our new place.

Here's some pictures.

Hope all is well back home!
